§ 150.058 ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE, REGISTRATION, AND PERMIT/INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS.
   Any electrical contractor, sign electrician or master electrician licensed under this subchapter, before engaging in the business of installing wiring, electrical apparatus or signs, shall register with the Building Inspections Department; file with the Building Inspections Department a copy of his or her current state license and a copy of a certificate of general liability insurance in the amounts stated in § 150.59; and shall abide by the following conditions:
   (A)   All electrical work installed or electrical signs erected or installed will be done in accordance with the rules and regulations as set forth in this subchapter and that such contractor, sign electrician or master electrician will comply in respects with the provisions of this subchapter.
   (B)   Payment will be made of any and all fees that may become due and owing by such contractor, sign electrician or master electrician.
   (C)   The contractor, sign electrician or master electrician shall indemnify and protect any person with whom he or she shall contract to work, and shall indemnify and protect the city against such person or against the city in consequence of the operation covered by any certificate issued by the Electrical Inspector.
   (D)   The contractor, sign electrician or master electrician shall pay all damages for personal injuries to anyone on account of any excavation made in, or any obstruction placed upon, any street or sidewalk in the city by anyone while engaged in and about the performance of such work.
   (E)   The contractor, sign electrician or master electrician shall pay all damages for injury in encroachment upon the property of abutting lot owners or other persons in constructing the improvements or doing the work.
   (F)   The contractor, sign electrician or master electrician will defend all suits and hold the city harmless against any and all loss or damage on account of either personal injury or injuries to property.
