The city hereby adopts the 2020 edition of the National Electrical Code. Copies of the code and the amendments thereto, as referenced in this section, are on file in the office of the City Secretary for permanent record and inspection. In addition thereto, the city hereby adopts the recommended amendments to the 2020 National Electrical Code prepared by the North Central Texas Council of Governments, which are attached to Ordinance OR10-2022-75 as "Exhibit A - Section 150.057". The exhibit is not set out herein, but is on file and available for inspection in the office of the City Secretary. The chief building official, or his authorized representative, is hereby authorized and directed to enforce all provisions of the National Electrical Code, as adopted herein and as amended.
