§ 30.20 FINES AND SPECIAL EXPENSES.
   (A)   The Municipal Court may enforce the collection of fines imposed by it, by execution against the property of the defendant, or by imprisonment of the defendant, in the same manner as provided for justice courts by the laws of the state, including issuance of writs of execution and warrants of arrest in furtherance thereof.
   (B)   No court costs shall be assessed in, or charged against any defendant in, or cause pending in, the Municipal Court except as authorized in this section or as expressly authorized by state law.
   (C)   A special expense not to exceed $25 may be assessed and collected for the issuance and service of a warrant of arrest for an offense of failure to appear under Tex. Penal Code § 38.10, or under Tex. Trans. Code § 543.009, or under Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Article 17.04, relative to a personal bond to appear.
   (D)   A special expense not to exceed $10 or the actual expense incurred for service performed in such cases, whichever is less, may be assessed and collected in cases in the Municipal Court in which the laws of the state require that the case be dismissed because of actions by or on behalf of the defendant which were subsequent to the date of the alleged offense, such actions being limited to compliance with the provisions of Tex. Trans. Code §§ 543.102 to 543.104.
