§ 116.18 COMPLIANCE WITH LAW.
   The applicant for a permit required by this subchapter shall furnish satisfactory proof that all laws and regulations governing his or her business or the sale of products or services by such business have been complied with. This shall expressly include, but shall not be limited to, the state sales tax laws. In addition hereto, all applicants and permit holders shall not violate any consumer protection laws. CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS as used in this section means any federal, state or local laws or regulations which are intended to protect consumers in business transactions. This term shall expressly include, but is not limited to, the Home Solicitation Transactions Act, being Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat., Art. 5069-13.01 through 5069-13.07, as it is hereinafter amended.
