§ 96.79 EXCEPTIONS.
   These regulations concerning nuisance personal property shall not apply to:
   (A)   Motor vehicles, trailers, recreational vehicles, boats, or personal watercraft parked or stored at a licensed vehicle dealer or licensed vehicle storage facility, provided if such vehicles are dilapidated, wrecked, dismantled, or partially dismantled, the storage of motor vehicles, trailers, recreational vehicles, boats, and personal watercraft shall comply with the provisions of § 96.51(B);
   (B)   Motor vehicles, trailers, recreational vehicles, boats, or personal watercraft parked or stored outside an enclosed building on the property of an automotive, recreational vehicle, boat, or personal watercraft repair shop provided a motor vehicle, trailer, recreational vehicle, boat, or personal watercraft may not be stored or parked outside of an enclosed building for more than 90 days;
   (C)   Motor vehicles, trailers, recreational vehicles, boats, or personal watercraft parked or stored outside an enclosed building on the property of a licensed automotive wrecking or salvage yard provided the wrecking or salvage yard is in compliance with all local and state laws;
   (D)   Not more than two whole or partial vehicles used as supplementary signage or ornamentation for a business having a certificate of occupancy in a Commercial C zoning district, provided that the vehicles or vehicle parts used are installed and maintained in a manner that secures them from operation or from rolling, moving, or dislodging under the same conditions as a traditional sign. While it is recognized that vehicles used in this manner may be historic or vintage and may display some amount of age and wear, any vehicle or partial vehicle authorized under this chapter shall be maintained to prevent further deterioration after installation, including preventing the growth of rust, rot, fading, cracking, or other forms of visual decay;
   (E)   Property that the possession, use, sale manufacture, transportation, repair, or delivery of which is prohibited by law;
   (F)   Property which is regulated by the Police Department; or
   (G)   Weapons as defined in the Texas Penal Code.
