§ 102.050 HISTORIC SIGNIFICANCE.
   (A)    The Layland Museum main building was formerly the old Carnegie Library. As one of only twelve remaining in Texas, it is one of the State's most important historic structures. In 1978, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, it was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark (RTHL). In 1992, it was listed as a State Archeological Landmark.
   (B)    The Doty-Fullerton House, 409 N. Buffalo Street, is considered to be the oldest existing residence in the city, ca. 1868. In 1965, it was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark (RTHL).
