The Museum Advisory Board may elect to sponsor a function or activity for the purpose of raising funds, gathering donations, or securing contributions which shall be used for the strict purpose of enhancement of museum facilities, procurement of equipment or artifacts, renovation of museum facilities or any other purpose directly related to the museum operation. These funds shall be deposited in the treasury of the City and kept separate in a fund established for same.
