Upon the expiration of the ten-day notice period without a request for hearing being filed or upon receipt of a written order from the municipal court after a hearing required by § 96.50 of this chapter, the City Manager or his representative may cause the junked vehicle or part of the junked vehicle to be abated by removal and disposal as provided for in § 96.54 of this chapter by any authorized person.
