§ 35.06 LOCAL SALES AND USE TAX.
   (A)   The 1% local sales and use tax within the city is established by the ordinance passed on May 13, 1969, which was adopted by the electorate on June 24, 1969.

   (B)   The .5% local sales and use tax in support of the Cleburne 4B Economic Development Corporation within the city is established by the ordinance passed on August 28, 2001, which was adopted by the electorate on August 11, 2001.

   (C)   Pursuant to Tex. Tax Code § 321.105, the City Council voted to continue the tax on the sale, production, distribution, lease or rental of, and the use, storage or other consumption of gas and electricity for residential use within the city.

   (D)   The ordinances effecting the taxes referenced in this section are on file in the office of the City Clerk.
