Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be appointed by the City Council for a two-year term. All vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired terms in the same manner as provided for the original appointments. All expired terms shall be filled for terms as provided for the original appointments and in the same manner. A member of the Commission ceasing to reside in the city or filing for public office during his or her term of office shall immediately forfeit his or her office.
