§ 150.105 INSPECTION PRIOR TO ISSUING PERMIT.
   (A)   The Building Official shall inspect the structure before issuing a permit for moving. If the Building Official deems the structure to be in a condition that is unsafe or dangerous to move over public streets or grounds; or if the structure does not reasonably meet the requirements of this code and other building regulations pertaining thereto and cannot be made to meet the requirements at its new location, if within the city; no permit shall be issued.
   (B)   For structures that are located outside the corporate limits of the city, the applicant may obtain an inspection by an authority knowledgeable and qualified to inspect building structures in place of the city staff inspector as indicated in division (A) above. The inspection authority must be approved by the City Building Official prior to the inspection of the structure. The inspection report shall be signed by the inspection authority and the signature must be notarized and submitted to the City Building Official prior to issuing the permit.
