(A) The amount of the surety bond for individuals who must file and maintain a surety bond pursuant to I.C. 5-4-1-18(a)(7) is set at $5,000.
(B) The purchase of a blanket bond, schedule bond (by name or position) and/or a crime insurance policy that are endorsed to cover faithful performance and include aggregate coverage sufficient to cover all officers, employees, commission members, and persons acting on behalf of the local government unit required to be bonded, including officers, employees, and contractors described in I.C. 5-4-1-18, is hereby authorized and approved.
