§ 30.01  TOWN COUNCIL.
   (A)   The Town Council shall have all the rights and powers given and granted the Council by law in the performance of their duties as a town council.

   (B)   Each Council member shall be elected for a term of four years.

   (C)   There shall be one Council member elected from each of the three districts in the town, and two Council members elected at large. The Council members elected from each of the districts must all reside in the district from which he or she runs, but shall be elected by the vote of the voters at large. The two at-large candidates may reside in any of the three districts and will also be elected by the vote of the voters at large. The candidate from each district receiving the most votes shall be elected as the representative of their district on the Town Council. The two at-large candidates receiving the most votes from the entire town shall be the representatives elected as the at-large members of the Town Council. The total number of Council members shall be five.
