§ 110.01  REGULATION AND LICENSING.
   (A)   Any person or persons who shall, within the corporate limits of the town, exercise the business of a peddler, huckster, itinerant vendor or transient salesman, except for wholesale, and who shall sell or offer for sale any goods, wares, merchandise or produce of any kind or nature without having first obtained or procured a license so to do from the Town Clerk-Treasurer, as hereinafter provided, shall, upon conviction of the violation of this section, be fined.  However, any person or persons selling produce, provisions and fruits of their oven raising, and traveling salesperson who sell only to retail dealers in like commodities shall not be subject to the payment of a license fee as required in this section.
   (B)   Any person or persons desiring to peddle or disperse any goods, wares, merchandise or produce by sale shall first obtain a license to do so from the Town Clerk-Treasurer, which license fees shall be as follows:
      (1)   The sum of $4 for one day’s license;
      (2)   The sum of $12 for one week’s license;
      (3)   The sum of $25 for one month’s license; and
      (4)   The sum of $50 for one year’s license.
   (C)   Any person or persons residing within the corporate limits of the town shall not be subjected to any of the provisions of this section.
