The business license official may require the submission of local, state, and federal level summary criminal history information for licensing, and/or certification of massage businesses and massage practitioners, and for the suspension or revocation of licenses, and/or certification of massage businesses and massage practitioners, and may not disseminate the information to a private entity. The business license official may not accept a summary report that is greater than three (3) months old prior to submission, and may require a summary report to be updated at any given time.
