A. Required: Dedication of all parks, school grounds and other public open spaces and streets within a subdivision may be required by the planning commission in accordance with the adopted comprehensive plan. (Ord., 7-10-1979)
B. Withholding Of Approval: The Planning Commission may withhold approval of a preliminary or final plat for one year if all or part of the area to be subdivided may be needed for a park, school, street or other public purpose. The Planning Commission should notify the appropriate agency in writing of the proposed subdivision. If proper means have not been initiated to acquire the desired property within one year, the owner may then subdivide in compliance with the provisions of this Title. (Ord., 7-10-1979; amd. 2000 Code)
