A. Vertical Cuts: Pavement, concrete and other hard surfaces shall be cut vertically along neat, straight lines forming the trench and in such manner as not to damage the adjoining pavement or existing improvements. The portion to be removed shall be broken up in a manner that will not cause damage to the pavement outside the limits of the trench. Large pieces of pavement resulting from the excavation shall be removed immediately from the work site.
B. Expeditious Manner: The excavation will be carried on in an expeditious manner so as to minimize the interference with the use of the public way. (Ord. 84-01, 2-14-1984)
