A. Continuation Of Review: After the conclusion of such public hearing, the city council may continue its review of the tentative budget and may insert such new items or may increase or decrease such items of expenditure as were the proper subject of consideration at such public hearing, except as restricted by law.
B. Adoption By Resolution: On or before June 30 of each fiscal year, the city council shall, by resolution, adopt a budget for the ensuing fiscal year. A copy of the final budget shall be certified and filed with the state auditor. (1966 Code § 2-1-6)
