§ 98.01 CUTTING OF WEEDS.
   (A)   Hereafter it shall be unlawful for any person or owner of real estate within the corporate limits of the Town of Clayton, Union County, New Mexico, to allow or maintain any rank growth of weeds over 12 inches in height on any real estate.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of the owner of the real estate to cut and remove any weeds from and after 10 days’ notice so to do by the Mayor, and notice to the tenant on the property shall be notice to the owner; and if vacant, then notice left placed on the property shall constitute proper notice.
   (C)   The term WEEDS in this section shall mean and include all rank growths of vegetation which shall exhale or may exhale unpleasant or noxious odors, and all high and rank vegetable growth that conceals or may conceal filthy deposits.
