Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter in any manner shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in any sum not less than $5 nor more than $50, or by imprisonment in the town or county jail for a period of not less than 5 days nor more than 30 days, or both the fine and imprisonment by the discretion of the court trying the case.
