No pipe to supply gas to any consumer shall be smaller than hereinafter specified:
(A) From street or alley opening to meter, l-1/4 inch;
(B) For 1 opening, l-1/4 inch pipe to the point of opening;
(C) For 2 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to first opening and 1-inch pipe to the second opening;
(D) For 3 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to the first opening, 1-inch pipe to the second opening and 3/4-inch pipe to the third opening;
(E) For 4 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to the first opening, 1-inch pipe to the second opening, and 3/4-inch pipe to the third and fourth openings;
(F) For 5 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to the first opening, 1-inch pipe to the second and third openings and 3/4-inch pipe to the fourth and fifth openings;
(G) For 6 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to the point of second opening, 1-inch pipe to the third and fourth openings and 3/4-inch pipe to the fifth and sixth openings;
(H) For 7 openings, 1-1/4 inch pipe to the point of the second opening, 1-inch pipe to the point to the fifth opening and 3/4-inch pipe to the sixth and seventh openings;
(I) For 8 openings, 1-inch pipe to the point of the third opening, 1-inch pipe to the point of the sixth opening and 3/4-inch pipe to the seventh and eighth openings; and
(J) When more than 8 openings are to be installed the installation, shall be as prescribed by the Inspector of Plumbing in each case.
