The Inspector of Plumbing, or his or her duly authorized deputy, shall from time to time, as he or she deems proper, inspect the gas fixtures and appliances in any building and shall make the requirements relating thereto as he or she may deem the public health and safety require, and the owner, agent or occupant of the buildings shall comply with the requirements. Any additional piping installed after an inspection certificate is issued must be reported for inspection when completed.
