§ 55.11 QUALITY OF MATERIALS.
   (A)   Pipe used shall be standard, full weight, of the best quality of wrought iron or steel and free from defects. All fittings (except stopcocks and valves) shall be of best quality malleable iron; no cast iron fittings shall be used.
   (B)   Nipples and reducing couplings must be used; in no case shall bushings be used.
   (C)   All pipe shall be reamed after cutting.
   (D)   All piping shall be so installed that it is not subjected to unnecessary strain and shall be supported by metal straps or hangers where necessary.
   (E)   No cement of any kind shall be used to repair faulty fittings.
