(A) If any trouble should exist on any of the municipal water mains, service lines, wells, reservoir, and meters, the Municipal Water Department is to be notified. No person other than Municipal Water Department employees are to work on, repair, make taps, or any other necessary repairs and additions.
(B) Pipes, service, main lines, meters, or any other part of the municipal water system, torn, mutilated by contractor or any person, must be reported immediately; and upon full repair, such person, firm, or contractor shall pay full cost of repair.
(C) Fire plugs damaged by vehicles or persons shall be reported immediately; and upon repair, such person responsible shall pay cost of repair.
(D) Any property owner, renter, or user of water from the municipal water system that attempts to thaw out a frozen meter or a meter that he thinks is frozen, by fire of any source, and damages the water meter, shall pay the full cost of the meter repairs. These persons should call the Clayton Municipal Water Department Office and report such stoppage of water before attempting to thaw out a meter.
(E) Any person, firm, or contractor that drives any vehicle over any meter water box breaking same, shall report such damage, and after repairs, pay for the cost of such damage.
