§ 51.37 PROHIBITED WASTE TYPES.
   The Town of Clayton Collection Center will not accept the following types of solid waste:
   (A)   Hazardous waste.
   (B)   Liquid waste. Any liquid greater than one gallon including paints and frying fats.
   (C)   Foundry wastes such as cupola slag, bag house dust, molding sand, molding sludge, spent refectories and core waste.
   (D)   Sludge. Any solid, semisolid or liquid waste generated from a municipal, commercial or industrial wastewater treatment plant, water supply treatment plant, air pollution control facility or any sludge generated by industrial or manufacturing processes.
   (E)   Domestic waste from private sewage disposal systems.
   (F)   Infectious waste. Regulated medical waste and those wastes which contain pathogens with sufficient virulence and quantity so that exposure to the waste by a susceptible host could result in an infectious disease.
   (G)   Free liquid waste. Those wastes which contain liquids which readily separate from the solid portion of a waste under ambient temperature and pressure. Free liquids shall be determined using the paint filter test as defined in the EPA document entitled: Update II to SW-846.
   (H)   Out-of-county waste. Any and all solid waste which has been generated outside of Union County is prohibited.
   (I)   Asbestos.
   (J)   Lead-acid batteries.
   (K)   Non-certified Freon appliances: Air conditioners, freezers, and refrigerators that possess Freon canisters.
   (L)   Waste oil.
   (M)   Selected yard waste. Large stumps, roots or shrubs with intact root balls.
   (N)   Hot ashes. Remnants from a wood burning stove or device that appear to be smoldering or remain burning.
   (O)   Radioactive waste.
   (P)   Contaminated soils.
   (Q)   Animal waste and manures. Including bedding material mixed with manure from large animals.
   (R)   Scrap metal. Scrap metal in excess of one cubic yard will not be accepted.
   (S)   Dead animals.
   (T)   Explosives and ammunitions.
   (U)   Flammable materials. Fuel, gasoline, and other flammable materials to include anti-freeze.
   (V)   Construction waste.
   (W)   Abandon autos.
   (X)   Any other item as specified by federal, state or local regulation, or as posted on signs.
