The purpose of this chapter is to limit and restrict the public street parking and/or storage of vehicles, including any conveyance, trailer, boat, aircraft and/or other similar pieces of equipment, upon the public street located within the township; to provide for effective and adequate street maintenance by public and privately contracted services; all for the safety, comfort and benefit of adjoining township residents and property owners, as well as others traveling in and through the Charter Township of Clayton.
