§ 151.042  BLOCKS.
   Blocks within subdivisions shall conform to the following standards:
   (A)   The size and shape of blocks shall be appropriate for the type of lots and land use proposed.
   (B)   Blocks shall be designed so as to permit good lot orientation, safe street design and economical use of the land.
      (1)   Length.  Length of blocks between intersecting streets shall he no less than 500 or more than 1,320 feet in length.
      (2)   Arrangement. A block shall be so designed as to provide 2 tiers of lots and shall not be less than 240 feet, except where lots back into a major thoroughfare, natural feature or subdivision boundary.
      (3)   Nonresidential blocks.  Blocks intended for purposes other than residential shall be especially designed for those purposes and shall have adequate provision for off-street parking and loading in accordance with the requirements of the zoning ordinance.
