This chapter is enacted pursuant to the statutory authority granted by the Land Division Act of 1967, Public Act 288 of 1967, being M.C.L.A. §§ 560.101 through 560.293; Public Act 191of 1939 providing for publication or ordinances; Public Act 246 of 1945, as amended, authorizing township boards to adopt ordinances and regulations to secure the public health, safety, and general welfare; and Public Act 168 of 1959 providing for approval by the township Planning Commission and consistency with the township’s general development plan.
