(A) Whenever a person is convicted of a misdemeanor offense, by plea or otherwise, he or she shall be liable to the Charter Township of Clayton for reimbursement of all costs of an administrative nature, including but not limited to officer pay; expenses incurred in connection with the preparation of reports and warrants; court appearances by officers; prosecution expenses and/or otherwise. At the time a judgment of conviction is entered, the Court shall assess the costs to be paid directly to the Charter Township of Clayton, an in no case shall that amount be less than $250, in addition to whatever other fines and costs the Court may assess by statute and/or court rule.
(B) Effective date of this section is December 23, 2003 (30 days after publication).
