The Housing Commission shall consist of 5 members to be appointed by the Supervisor. The term of office of members of the Commission shall be 5 years. Members of the first Commission existing hereunder shall be appointed for the terms of 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years and 5 years, respectively, and annually thereafter 1 member shall be appointed for the term of 5 years. Members of the Commission shall serve without compensation and may be removed from office by the appointing authority. Any vacancy in office shall be filled by the appointing authority for the remainder of the unexpired term.
