The Emergency Cost Recovery Ordinance is enacted by the Charter Township of Clayton pursuant to Michigan statute M.C.L.A. § 41.806(a) and is intended to provide authority for the reimbursement to Clayton Township for the cost and expense of emergency services from those receiving direct benefits provided by the Clayton Township Police Department and the Swartz Creek Area Fire Department.
