2-2-16: EXPIRATION AND PRORATING FEES:
   A.   Proration; Expiration: Where a license is granted and a period of less than one year remains before the license shall expire, one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual license fee shall be charged for each month or fraction of a month remaining after the said license is granted and before the said license shall expire. All licenses granted under the provisions of this Chapter shall expire on June 30 of each year following the date of issuance.
   B.   Late Penalty; Renewal Of License: A penalty not to exceed three hundred dollars ($300.00) shall be imposed on and collected from each applicant who files his application for renewal of his license after the commencement of the license year. All renewal applications shall be submitted at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the license. Any renewal application submitted after expiration shall be considered in violation of this Chapter, subject to penalties as hereinabove set forth. (Ord., 5-6-1986; amd. Ord., 2-14-1995)
