A. Administrative Penalty: A person who violates this Chapter shall be charged an administrative penalty of one hundred dollars ($100.00). Further, the violator shall pay to the County Auditor the full cost of rescue and recovery, including, but not limited to, wages of individuals, hourly cost of vehicles and equipment required to effect or support the rescue, towing charges, damages to public equipment and all other costs as may be incurred in the course of the rescue operation.
B. Notice; Hearing: No penalty may take effect under this Section until the individual has received notice, served personally or by certified mail, of the alleged violation and an opportunity for a hearing before a person authorized by the County to conduct the hearing. (Ord. 1998-3, 2-10-1998)
