4-1-3: ANIMALS, LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY 1 :
   A.   Dangerous Animals: No owner or person in charge of an animal shall permit an animal which is dangerous to the public health or safety to be exposed in public. If the animal is exposed in public, biting a person, unlicensed, or is roaming, it may be taken into custody by the City or animal control officer. (1996 Code § 8.04.010; amd. 2004 Code)
   B.   Livestock And Poultry: No person shall keep or maintain livestock or poultry within the City unless the property is zoned "Open Space" (section 9-8B-1 of this Code) and has the approval of the Planning Commission to conduct urban farming (section 9-8B-4 of this Code).
