§ 96.03 AUTHORITY AND POWER.
   The Street Superintendent of the town shall have the authority to administer and enforce the provisions of this chapter. In the Street Superintendent's absence, these duties shall be the responsibility of a qualified alternate designated by the town. The Superintendent shall have the authority and jurisdiction of regulating the planting, maintenance, and removal of trees on streets and other publicly-owned property to insure safety or preserve the aesthetics of public areas. The Superintendent shall have the authority and duty to supervise or inspect all work done under a permit issued in accordance with the terms of this chapter. The Superintendent may affix reasonable conditions to the granting of a permit in accordance with the terms of the chapter.
