4-1-7: INTERFERENCE:
   A.   Firefighters Or Emergency Personnel: Every person at the scene of any fire or emergency who disobeys the lawful orders of any public officer or firefighter, or offers any resistance to or interference with the efforts of any firefighter, emergency personnel or company of firefighters to extinguish a fire or respond to an emergency, or engages in any disorderly conduct calculated to prevent the fire from being extinguished or an adequate response to an emergency being given, or who forbids, prevents or dissuades others from assisting to extinguish or respond to the same, is guilty of an infraction, and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
   B.   Officers, Apparatus, Water, Etc.: Any person who shall wilfully hinder any officer or member of the fire and rescue department in the discharge of his/her duties at a fire or emergency scene, or in any manner injures, defaces or destroys any engine, hose or other fire or emergency apparatus belonging to the municipality, or who shall interfere with any fire and rescue company or person, or who shall wilfully break or injure any water pipe, or interfere with the water or its source of supply, shall be deemed guilty of a class B misdemeanor, and subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
