(A) The governing body has the power and authority to fix the rates to be paid by the water consumers for the use of water from the Water Department. All such fees shall be on file for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk.
(B) The Water Commissioner shall bill the consumers and collect all money received by the village on the account of the Water Department. He, she, or they shall faithfully account for, and pay to the Village Treasurer all revenue collected by him, her, or them, taking his, her, or their receipt therefore in duplicate, filing one with the Village Clerk and keeping the other on file in the Water Department’s official records.
