(A) For purposes of this section, PART-TIME ELECTED OFFICIALS OF COUNTY GOVERNMENT shall mean, and be limited to, the elected members of the Board of County Commissioners and the County Council.
(B) Commencing January 1, 2012, part-time elected officials of county government shall remain eligible for enrollment in county group health coverage in the same manner in effect on the date of adoption of this section.
(C) Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, commencing January 1, 2012, part-time elected officials of county government shall not be eligible for county contribution to any county group health insurance coverage in which such official elects to participate.
(D) This section shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and promulgation as evidenced by the affirmative signatures of the undersigned as the majority of the duly elected and serving members of the Board.
