(A) The County Sheriff’s Department shall charge a $5 administrative fee plus the cost of towing for vehicles which are impounded in the routine performance of the Police Department duties.
(B) The County Sheriff’s Department shall charge a $5 per day storage fee for such vehicles stored in a municipal impound lot.
(C) Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-3-7, there is now established in the office of the Auditor an “impounding and storage account”, which is subject to the following conditions, to wit:
(1) All monies received for impounding and storage shall be deposited therein;
(2) This account shall be designated for the purpose of paying for the expenses incurred in the establishment and operation of said lot and for the maintenance and upkeep of the County Sheriff’s vehicles; and
(3) All disbursements from said account shall be made on the order of the County Auditor upon presentation of the proper claims by said County Sheriff’s Department.
