§ 36.02  GROUP INSURANCE FOR EMPLOYEES WHO ARE INJURED.
   (A)   It has come to the attention of the Board of Commissioners that there are instances in which county employees are injured, both job related and non-job related, and are away from their gainful employment for a period of time in excess of one year.
   (B)   The Board of Commissioners finds that it would be in the best interest and will be for the general benefit of the county and its citizens to limit the period of time to one year that the county will pay its part of the supporting group insurance for county employees who are injured and away from their gainful employment.
   (C)   It is the intention of the Board of Commissioners of the county to make this section retroactive to January 2, 1978.
   (D)   If any clause, phrase, provision or section of this section, or application thereof to any person or circumstances, shall be held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect or render void any other clause, phrase, provision, section or application of this section which can be given effect without the invalid part or application thereof. It is the intention of the County Commissioners of the county, in the adoption of this section, to adopt each clause, phrase, provision or section thereof separately and to this end the provisions of this section are declared to be severable.
