(A) The County Health Department Grants Non-Reverting Fund (the CCHD Grants Fund) is hereby established as a non-reverting fund to be administered and maintained by the County Auditor.
(B) All grant funds received by the County Health Department from the state (or any agency thereof) any charitable corporation or organization, or otherwise the CCHD Grants Fund.
(C) Purposes of Permitted Expenditures from the CCHD Grants Fund. The County Health Department shall be entitled to make expenditures from the CCHD Grants Fund for all purposes consistent with and authorized by the respective grant conditions of award, and/or as authorized by the County Health Department Board of Directors. To the extent permitted by state law, the expenditure of such funds shall not require appropriation by the County Council.
(D) The CCHD Grants Fund shall be perpetual unless and until terminated by subsequent ordinance enacted by this Board.
(E) The County Auditor is hereby directed to maintain and manage accurate accounting information regarding the receipts, expenditures and balances of the CCHD Grants Fund.
(F) This section shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and promulgation as evidenced by the affirmative signatures of the undersigned as the majority of the duly elected and serving members of this Board.
