(A) The County Courts Extended Operating Hours Fund (the “fund”) is hereby established.
(B) The fund shall be non-reverting and cumulative.
(C) The fund is not required to be appropriated by the County Council.
(D) The fund shall only be used by the county courts for the payment of miscellaneous and additional expenses associated with extending the operating hours of the courts beyond normal business hours with the intent of expediting court hearings and adjudications of county jail inmates to help reduce jail inmate populations.
(E) The county courts shall follow all applicable county and state rules, regulations and procedures concerning the submission and payment of claims.
