(A) There is hereby established the County Corrections Fund, and every recital set forth in the ordinance codified herein is adopted into this section.
(B) The County Corrections Fund may be used only for funding the operation of the county’s jail, jail programs or other local correctional facilities.
(C) The county hereby elects to receive Level 3 Funding pursuant to I.C. 11-12-6-13(c).
(D) This Fund shall be administered by the county fiscal body (County Council) consistent with I.C. 11-12-6-6.
(E) The county adopts the base integer assigned to it (14) pursuant to I.C. 11-12-6-11.1 and directs the Auditor to keep appropriate records of all deposits in this fund when received by the State Department of Corrections pursuant to I.C. 11-12-6-13.
