A. Regular Meeting Dates: The regular meetings of the village board shall be on the first and third Mondays of each month, unless such Monday shall be a holiday observed by the village, in which case the village board shall meet on a day within that same week, as determined by the village board.
B. Adjourned Meetings: Adjourned meetings may be held at such time or times as may be determined by the village board.
C. Meeting Hour: All regular meetings of the village board shall convene at 6:30 P.M., unless otherwise changed in accordance with applicable law.
D. Meeting Location: All regular meetings shall take place at the Clarendon Hills Village Hall, unless otherwise approved by the village board.
E. Special Meetings: Special meetings of the village board may be called by the village president or by any three (3) trustees at least seventy two (72) hours before the time of each meeting unless there are extenuating circumstances. Notice in writing to each member of the village board shall be served by the village clerk at least forty eight (48) hours before the time of each meeting unless there are extenuating circumstances. In addition to any notice requirement prescribed by the board of trustees, public notice of meetings must be given as prescribed in sections 2.02 and 2.03 of the open meetings act.
F. Quorum: Four (4) members of the village board shall constitute a quorum to do business, and three (3) members of the village board constitute a majority of a quorum.
G. Participation In Meetings Via Electronic Means: Pursuant to ordinance 07-03-05, adopted March 5, 2007, the village board has approved rules authorizing the electronic attendance of village board members at village board meetings, in accordance with 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/7. Subject to compliance with said rules and the open meetings act, village board members shall be allowed to participate electronically in meetings of the village board. (Ord. 15-04-25; amd.
