A. Charges To Permit Holders: The Chief of Police or Fire Chief shall charge any permit holder a fee for false alarms transmitted by an automatic signaling device or local alarm system in any three (3) month period according to section S40.2 of this Code.
B. Exempt False Alarms: Where there is a positive indication, satisfactory to the Chief of Police or Fire Chief that a false alarm was caused by any of the factors identified in subsections A through H of the definition of "false alarm" in section 40.1 of this chapter, there shall be no charge and such false alarms shall not be counted in the schedule contained in section S40.2 of this Code.
C. Installation Exemption: No charge shall be imposed for false alarms for thirty (30) days from date of installation.
D. Payment Of Charges: Any permit holder that fails to pay said charges shall be in violation of this provision. Charges hereunder shall be remitted to the Village under the following fine schedule. Any permit holder that fails to pay said charges shall be in violation of this provision. Charges that are past due may be referred to a collection agency for disposition.
