PREAMBLE

We, the people of the City of Claremore, Oklahoma, exercising the powers of home rule granted to us by the Constitution and laws of the State of Oklahoma, in order to form a more modern, efficient and economical government, and to facilitate civic improvement and promote the general welfare, do hereby ordain, ratify and establish this Charter of the City of Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma.
