§ 34.02 CHIEF OF POLICE.
   There shall be a Chief of Police appointed by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Council. The City Manager shall appoint an Assist-ant Chief of Police and such other police officers as the City Manager, the Mayor, and the City Council deem necessary. The Chief of Police and Assistant Chief of Police shall hold their offices until their respective successors have been appointed and qualify but may be removed at any time as provided by 11 O.S. §§ 9-117 and 9-118.
