§ 34.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   POLICE OFFICERS. Those persons in the employment of the city who have been commissioned as police officers and who are directly engaged in the enforcement of the ordinances of the city.
   POLICE PERSONNEL BOARD. A committee composed of the Municipal Counselor, Chairperson of the Public Safety Commission of the City Council, and the Mayor of the city.
