§ 150.096 LICENSING AND REGISTRATION FEES.
   (A)   No person shall practice or engage in the business, trade or occupation of mechanical contrac-tor, mechanical journeyman or mechanical apprentice in the city until they are first licensed by the state as a mechanical contractor, mechanical journeyman or mechanical apprentice and also licensed by the city or county, depending on where the work is to be per-formed, in the identical capacity that they are first licensed by the state. The registration fees to be paid to the city shall be as follows, to-wit:
      (1)   Mechanical contractor first year fee $85; thereafter $35 per year;
      (2)   Mechanical journeyman, first year fee $60; thereafter $15 per year; and
      (3)   Mechanical apprentice, no fee.
   (B)   In the event the license in subdivisions (1) and (2) above is allowed to be expired for a period of two years the renewal fee will revert to $85 and $60 respectively.
