§ 150.049 CERTIFICATE NECESSARY FOR APPRENTICES.
   No person, except as hereinafter provided, shall work at the trade of or engage in the business of wiring, rewiring, installing, repairing, or altering any electrical wiring, or installing or repairing any apparatus, fixture or electrical appliance, until he shall have first obtained from the Electrical Examining Board, a certificate of qualification as provided herein. An apprentice shall be allowed to do such work without a certificate, provided he works under the direct supervision of a licensed electrical contractor or journeyman electrician who shall be present at all times while the apprentice performs such work. Apprentice electrical appliance repair workers or apprentice maintenance service workers may work at the trade of electrical appliance repair or maintenance service without a certificate, but only under the direct and personal supervision of a certified electrical repairman or maintenance service man respectively. All apprentices shall be listed with the Electrical Examining Board.
